Brownie Cookies for Back to School

These brownie cookies are thick with fudgy centers and an intense chocolate flavor!

They are one of those easy desserts that you can put together in a blink of an eye to satisfy your cravings!

Ingredients

Cocoa powder Butter Vegetable oil Egg Sugar Vanilla extract All-purpose flour Baking powder Salt Milk chocolate chips

Let's Make Brownie Cookies 

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper and reserve.

Step 1

Using a hand mixer at low speed, mix together the cocoa powder, melted butter, vegetable oil, and egg until fully combined.

Step 2

Add the sifted flour, baking powder, and salt to a separate mixing bowl. Then stir in these dry ingredients with wet ingredients until a dough forms (do not overbeat).

Step 3

Scoop out about 2 tablespoonfuls of dough using a cookie scoop and place them onto the prepared baking sheets. Press them down slightly so they will be thick.
