Instant Breakfast Avocado Smoothie

Instant breakfast avocado smoothie is a nutritious, satisfying, quick drink that can be enjoyed at the table or easily transported to school or work. It also makes a great snack!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup sliced fresh avocado or ½ small avocado
  • 1 packet Nestlé Carnation Breakfast Essentials® powder Classic French Vanilla
  • ¾ cup fat-free milk or water
  • Sugar substitute to taste or any other sweetener of your choice
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds

Instructions

  • Place avocado, Carnation Breakfast Essentials® powder, milk or water, sugar substitute, and ice together in a blender.
  • Cover and blend until smooth.
  • Pour in a glass and sprinkle chia seeds on top. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

STORAGE: Avocado smoothie should be preferably consumed right away, or avocado will darken. But you can refrigerate covered for up to 24 hours. Remove darkened layer from top and mix well before drinking. Stirring a  few drops of lemon juice before refrigerating will help avocado not to darken faster.
