2slicesof breadbrioche or Texas toast are the best because they are both thick and soft
Instructions
Yogurt Toast in the Oven:
Preheat oven at 350°F (180° C).
Make the custard mixture: In a small bowl, add Greek yogurt, egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla bean. Whisk very well until homogeneous and creamy.
Prepare the bread: Using your fingers or the back of a spoon, press down the center of the bread to indent and create a well without cutting through. Spoon in the custard mixture into the indented well.
Bake: Bake on the middle rack for about 12-15 minutes or until the custard is mostly set.
Serve: Distribute about ½ to 1 tablespoon of sugar over the custard and caramelize the sugar using a torch. Garnish it with fresh berries if you want. Serve immediately!
Yogurt Toast in the Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer at 350°F (180° C).
Follow steps 2 and 3 above to make the custard and prepare the bread.
Place the toasts into the air fryer basket and cook for about 4-8 minutes. Make sure to keep a space between them so the hot air can circulate.
