A mildly sweet and moist Banana Apple Bundt Cake, making the perfect gluten-free coffee cake to serve for breakfast or as a dessert.

one slice of banana apple bundt cake in a plate

I am sick to the very core of my being.

It is for this reason alone that today you will experience this delightful Banana Apple Bundt Cake kindly shared by the talented Asha Shivakumar from Food Fashion Party.

I have been a constant visitor to her gorgeous blog for a while.

Every time that I stop by, Ash always has great recipes and artistic pictures to enchant the senses.

image showing one of the banana apple bundt cake ingredients

Well, Ash is one of the food bloggers that I admire. When I invited her to guest post on such short notice, I confess that I was expecting “no” as an answer.

But she kindly came to my rescue with this mouthwatering Banana Apple Bundt Cake post — which I appreciate so much.

I hope that y’all warmly welcome her here and stop by to visit her blog. Thank you, Ash, for all your help and kindness. May God bless you richly!

I won’t keep you waiting any longer. Now here is Ash, in her own words:

“Hope your week is going good my friends. Thanks for asking me to guest post, feel really honored my friend.

Amidst all of these festivities that’s going on, comes our favorite day HALLOWEEN. It is so nice to see the kids dress up and have fun.

Every year we have a small party for the kids. Lots of desserts and finger food. A few of them are allergic to a some ingredients, so I make couple of cakes every year and this is one of them.

It’s gluten free, and the kids love it. You can dress up the cake any way you want it. It’s a blank canvas which tastes amazing by itself, if I may say so.

Although I would have wanted to send a bowl of spicy stew to Denise, this cake comes her way to make her feel better.”

HOW TO MAKE GLUTEN-FREE BANANA APPLE BUNDT CAKE

Mix the sorghum flour, buckwheat flour, potato starch, quinoa flour, xanthum gum, baking powder, baking soda, chocolate chips and salt very well and keep aside.

PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 degree F. Butter the bundt pan very very well and coat it lightly with a dusting of potato starch.

With a beater, whip the butter till it’s fluffy. Add the sugar and brown sugar and beat.

Add in the eggs one at a time and beat well. Add the vanilla extract and mix in.

Mix in the mashed bananas and apple sauce. Fold the dry ingredients with the butter mixture with a plastic spatula well.

Pour in the bundt pan (ONLY fill 3/4 of the pan ) and lightly tap the pan on a toweled surface 3 times.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 55-65 minutes depending on the oven.

If you see the top browning too fast, reduce the temperature of the oven to 325 degrees F.

Remove from oven and let it cool for 15 minutes EXACTLY before un-molding.

Note:  It is a dense cake and a slow bake.

Leave it on a cooling rack for 15 minutes EXACTLY (not more or less) and then invert it onto a platter.

ONLY fill 3/4 of the pan. Butter the bundt pan very very well.

Enjoy Ash’s Banana Apple Bundt Cake creation!!!

    PIN & ENJOY!

Denise, I am new to your blog and I hope you are feeling better soon! Being sick is no fun. (I know…because I am sick right now. Terrible food allergy. Ugh.) Thank you for hosting Asha. She is indeed a gem and one of my favorite talented bloggers as well!

Ash, as I mentioned on your blog, your gluten free Bundt cake is gorgeous! (I just adore my Fleur De Lys Bundt cake pan, too. So pretty.) Thanks for sharing, my friend, and for helping Denise. You are a treasure! P.S. You mentioned the cake is eggless, but there are 2 eggs listed in the ingredients. Just a little FYI in case it is a typo.

Thanks for stopping by, Cristina! I see…There are a lot of people with allergy to gluten nowadays. This is a great treat for those who cannot eat gluten for sure. Although I am not on a GF diet, I’d love to try Ash’s fabulous cake. Well, enjoy it with you mother.
